Sheets!
I am on the weird side and can get quite excited over great sheets, and the low prices I pay for them. Today, I splurged a little on new bed pillows. JC Penny's was having a sale and for 5 bucks (I also had a gift card) I got two kingsize pillows. It was about time I replaced our old icky ones! When I got home I decided our pillow cases were also in that icky category, so I set out to Homegoods to find some new ones for a bargain price. I wasn't impressed with any of the king sized pillow cases, they were all weird colors. I did end up finding some nice chocolate milk colored sheets. They happened to be organic, wich is great, but I don't go out of my way to buy organic, ever. I just got done making my bed, and had to come share with everyone! These are by far the silkiest, softest (100 lyocell) nicest sheets I've ever felt. They are by Pure Green, and the fiber is called Tencel, it's made from eucalyptus wood. The best part... only $30 for the cal king set! I'm going to be sleeping good tonight. Now.... if only I had my hubby to snuggle with....

New BABY! and another letter!
First things first- I have a new baby to snuggle! My awesome sister in law London naturally delivered her 7lb1oz baby girl this afternoon. Both Mom and Baby are great... still waiting on a 'for sure' name though. I got so see her right after birth, and went back tonight for some quiet snuggle time. I got her for a whole hour, and with her three big sisters, that probably won't happen often :) I LOVE new babies, they really are the best ever!
Okay, and I also got a letter from hubby! I was waiting on a picture from the ward missionary, and got it! Imagine my disapointment however when I opened the letter, and saw they sent the wrong picture! Sad for me! They got the correct name, must be two Private Moore's. I hope to get the correct picture soon, pictures of other soldiers just aren't quite the same!
****************
So I will start out by saying I am so tired of smelling other peoples FARTS! ahhh!!!! I don't know if it is the food or what but dang they STINK! Anyways, mail call came again yesterday and I am officially the only person who hasn't gotten a letter as of now, even they guy who's getting a psych discharge has someone who loves him. So it is saturday and I don't have fireguard and tomorrow wake up isn't til 5am so I am taking a few minutes to write to you and my Mom. today started out really good the plattoon was doing well on everything (wich is hard for us because of the females- we are the only plattoon with females in the company..drama, flirting, BS) Not with me thank you! We practice D&C (drill and ceremonies)with our weapons (oh yeah the other day we were issued our M16 A2 that don't leave our side) It is a huge responsibility, I practiced taking it apart and putting it back together again tonight. Then after lunch we started combatives wich was really cool they lined us all up facing eachother and asked who was afraid to take a hit and a few people put up thier hands and the DS said tough****. We took turns slapping the crap out of eachother, it was great. They also taught us takedowns, arm bars, how to get out of holds, ways to fall, different rolls, and chokes. It was great then at chow some jack asses tried to sneak out some nutrigrain bars to the barracks so we got smoked for a good 1 to 1 and a half hours and the people who did it are getting article 15's cause under UCMJ law that is stealing. Crazy huh? They made us stand outside and shook us down like prison guards looking for the shiv, they made us look down while we marched and no cadence was sounded off, then when we got back they didn't call us privates to degrade us like normal they called us boys and girls and made us sit indian style. **I'm concerned here because my hubby can't sit indian style to save his life!** But that stuff is going to happen, people get hungry. I was telling my Mom it was -12 here the other day. We were supposed to get hair cuts and go to the PX tomorrow and maybe make phone calls but because of the stupid people now we don't. So our new DS is this Lady, probably 30's, African American, and kinda funny, but tough, and she came in our room the other day and said "boy it's cold in here". She made such a big deal about it that now I am sleeping in 3 different sleeping bags. I even sweat last night- it was great. my letters are going to get really boring unless I get some back. I love you honey and I miss you every minute.

More Letters!
**just fyi I've decided to write them on here just like he writes them to me.. I'm not his english teacher!**
Hi Honey! I wrote last night and I found some more time tonight, so we got to do the team training at the obstacle course today it was pretty cool. We did pretty well and tomorrow we do pugil and bayonet training so I get to beat some people with a giant Qtip and play with knives.**financial stuff** We actually had good food today I eat scrambled eggs and bacon with a nutrigrain bar for breakfast with water because we can't have milk in the "red" phase it's the beat you down phase. But then we had food brought to the barracks instead of going to the chow hall but it was BBQ beef tips and salad and veggie medly and noodles and MILK!! It was like christmas morning. Our Cadre are funny they yell and scream and then they joke around it is very confusing because right when you think you have it, you don't and they come right back to A hole again. Did I tell you it is really cold here it was -7 this morning while we marched for twenty minutes to the obstacle course oh, and snowing. All my friends that I thought I'd catch up with are in other platoons same unit but you sleep on different floors and only walk and some PT with them and chow and PT are 2 places you don't talk. I have fire watch again tonight that makes 3 in a row for me and my bunkmate. **the rest I'm keeping to myself** :)
**the next night**
Hi baby well I went to rifle and bayonette training today and it was really cool or maybe just cold. The wind here will whip you til you're sore. After the r&b training we did pugel (Qtips) and I have to say I got my butt handed to me, but I never quit (proud huh). So that took all my day and then tonight, oh when we hiked to the training with our rucksacks and helmets on, so that was fun. Anyways we got our butts so smoked tonight it was brutal our platoon is #1 (on the first floor) so even though we are closest to formation we always seem to be last out, so we got a new (we have 4 already) DS and boy she is a peach... actually she's not bad but with all the immaturity around this place we force her hand. But, in the middle of her smoking us, the Sergaent First Class came in and decided that she needed to have us do a bunch of other exercises that just sucked! But so how are you doing? is the house clean? haha J/K at this point I would put up our little shanty dirty or clean just to see your beautiful smiling face. **can you tell we're fond of our house?** Is it Sunday yet? I do feel stronger though but I think I must be eating too much army food, I'm not losing any weight (darn carbs) I don't have fire duty tonight so I get my full 6 hours (wooo). I just hope that these people stop being so hard headed we will be in a room with a DS and she says keep it down or we're going outside and for 15 seconds they are quiet but then their age shows. Oh did I tell you my training is OSUT so it will be the full 14 weeks before you come out for graduation. SORRY I love U!

WooHoo!
Today was a great day all around, and just may get even better! Work was a peice of cake, we only had twenty kids in the whole center. I got to come home early, and enjoyed a wonderful nap. My nap was interupted by a phone call.... from Ft. Leonard Wood Mo.! It was the ward missionary that oversees the soldiers. She said that she saw Dustin yesterday and he is doing well. She also said she would be sending me a letter with a picture of him! Yay! She is also including an email address so I can email her and she'll give him his letters on Sunday. Wonderful news, and it gets better. We got to go out to dinner with the family to celebrate Gail's birthday. During dinner London began having contractions, not sure if it's labor yet, but very well could be! What an awesome day!

Pulling My Hair Out!
This is how my Sunday is going! I honestly don't think I am going to make it another 4 months in the place! This is what happened when I asked my kids to clean their room yesterday, the day before, and the day before that. I was not impressed by the progress they were making so I took matters into my own hands. I cleared off every surface with one fell swoop of my arm, and let everything hit the floor. It was honestly liberating. I also discovered stashes of toys and garbage under dressers and beds. UGH! As soon as Dustin get's paid I'm off to invest in some new containers, since they've destroyed most of theirs- and I'm packing their toys NOW. They don't deserve them, and I don't deserve this mess in my house.
