More Appointments
I made some good progress with my new doctor today.
I got an ultrasound schedualed for next week.
I got a referral to an allergist... can't forget those hives!
She also put me on some antibiotics for my sinuses and schedualed a follow up visit.
I guess I can't complain.

Doctors
You would think that someone as perpetually sick as me would welcome a visit to the doctor.
You would think that answers and advice and new medications would be something strongly desired.
You'd be wrong. In my opinion atleast.
I hate going to the doctor. I am always sick. They can't fix me, they've tried. They all give the same advice. Some of them speak to me as if I'm stupid.
When I give a quick (half hour) run down on my medical history I get blank stares in return. Sometimes it's like they think I'm making it all up.
SOOOOOO...... today I'm off to meet a new doctor. I will most likely get reffered to more new doctors, and the whole process will begin anew.
It's a desperate feeling, wanting them to believe, to understnad. it's hard to convey the misery and long suffering in one appointment. It's hard to feel like I will just be passed off to the next doctor when this one gets tired of me coming in every week for a sinus infection.
And that's just the sinuses. Add to that my ADD, weird feminine cycles, recurrant UTI's, allergies, and abnormally bad headaches....
My friend told me to stop going to the ER or I will get a frequent flyer sticker on my chart.
It's a real problem I tell ya, to get this all sorted out.
I hope this time brings success.
