Aren't you excited to read this post now??
I know you are!
Dear UCSF Billing Department,
Why after 4 (FOUR!!) years are you still trying to collect money from me? I had insurance. I had seconday coverage to cover what my insurance wouldn't pay. Yet you still insist I owe you a few thousand dollars.
The collection agency that called out of the blue today gave me two different dates of service. When I called to verify the information with you, the was no record of it. Never one to let an opportunity pass you by, you came up with a completely different date of service and amount.
It's quite challenging to have to think back to what happened that many years ago. Let alone find proof of anything!
The notes you left in your system were a little on the funny side. Saying you couldn't verify my son's coverage. It took me..... are you ready.... 2 minutes. I googled the phone number, called the company and even after four long years, they gave me the info I needed in less than two minutes. Why can't you figure that out? I even gave you the number! Every single date you are saying I owe for, he was covered.
I did give the collection agency a quick call back, to let them know you have no record of a bill they are tryting to collect for you. I'm also thinking that instead of paying you one penny, maybe you should pay ME. For these 4 years of trying to drag my credit in the gutter for something that is YOUR fault.
You really need to get your act together and make this right. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

A Visitor
My kids are in doggie heaven.
We are sitting for a friend who is gone for a couple weeks.
It's so nice to have a dog in the house again.
I know there are a million reasons not to have one, but having him here reminds me why people put up with all the hard parts of pet ownership.
I'm sure it helps that this guy is not only cute, but better behaved than my kids.
He also knows lots of tricks :)
He is really the perfect dog!
He hasn't touched a single thing the kids have left on the floor. Or made a single mess. He only barks if someone comes to the door. He doesn't dig either. And he genuinely loves the kids... he doesn't just tolerate them. If it were an option, we'd so keep him.
Unfortunately his owner is also aware of how awesome his dog is.... Darn It!

Spring Fever
I am so glad spring is here! I have this urgent need to revamp my house a little.
What I lack are the funds.... so my brain is working hard trying to think of ways to repurpose furniture and move things around to different rooms. I have quite a few areas I want to work on.
Logan's Room:
Open Storage for preteen boys..... Doesn't work!
Well.... I guess it works as far as function goes, but it is far from pretty!
I have our green dresser sitting under hubby's mondo TV, it would work pretty well in there. My original plan was to swap the two peices. However, the TV is hung on the wall, and sits too low for the shelves.
I really don't want to get rid of the shelves either, for some reason I'm overly attattched to them.
Now I need to find them a home.....
