Play Dates

Probably sad... but Duke has had more playdates in his few short weeks here than Jace has the whole time we've lived here.



Even more pathetic than that- I took pictures! I had to.... they're just too funny when they are together and I had to try to capture some of it.




Tug-of-War kept them busy for over an hour. Duke has no fear, he gets right in there to take whatever he can grab from Rocky.





Rocky is actually very gentle with Duke, despite the growls to keep him in check.

Dental Success!

Today was Jacey's first full dental exam and cleaning.

She's been to the dentist before, but refused to let them do ANYTHING.

We tried again today.

It was like I had a completely different child.






The best news though, no cavaties! I think this is the first time I've hear that when taking my kiddos to the dentist. Let's hope her teeth are better than her brothers!

In other dental related news,
We schedualed Gavin's surgery for June 10th. We also got our estimate on how much this is going to cost us.

It isn't pretty. So much for a get away for our aniversary. It will all be in our kids mouth.

Jumpin' On

A couple months ago, I fell off the diet wagon.

I'm not sure why. I had been doing quite well and was steadily losing.

Reasons (excuses) aside, I've put on all that I lost and more.

It's taken me a good two weeks to muster up the strength required to hop my fatness back on that wagon.

Don't laugh it's a big jump and I'm admittedly fat and lazy.

So, I'm off to the store to do some healthy shopping.

Wish me luck this time around.

Bloggy Catch Up Warning!

We had a visitor come stay with us for two weeks.

We fell in love so much we offered for him to stay forever.

It's all his fault that now I'm up at night with a naughty puppy.

No Pictures

I was just looking back through my blog. (not something I do very often)

I have to admit I'm letting you down! lol

The lack of pictures is depressing.

I promise to be better about that!

I can't wait until we can get outside and enjoy some fresh air. In order for that to be a reality a few things need to happen:
1- we need to all be healthy at the same time.
2- the dog needs the rest of his shots. (I can't see D leaving him home....ever)
3- we need a little more sunshine and a bit less wind.
