Logan Update- 1 week down, 1 to go!

Logan is at his half way point through this cleanout.

We went in today for a quick PFT and chat with his doc.

Nothing.

That was our word for the day.

Nothing grew. Nothing changed on his PFT's. Nothing we can blame all this junk on. Nothing we can change.Oh, and his last scan showed...... Nothing. (okay the last part isn't totally true, doc said it looked a ton better than he had expected)but it still didn't give us any explanation for why he's been so sick.

We were told to keep up the good work, and hurry home before we caught something.

Oh, and good doctor we have, noticed Mom was sick now.... too cute. Maybe I just look ill from only 4-5 hours of sleep a day?

Bah Humbug!

It's almost St Patrick's Day.

You can usually tell what holiday is coming up at my house, but not this year.

I almost feel guilty about it, but....

As long as we have clean clothes to wear and food to eat....

I'm calling it good for right now!

So- please don't pinch us if I forget to get out green clothes on Wednesday.

School For Logan

Tomorrow will be the very first time Logan has gone to school with his PICC line in.

His school nurse will have to give him his 11 o'clock meds. Ofcourse, it is the harder of the two meds to give. Not really hard, but just a bit more complex.

This is bringing up more challenges than I had originally planned on.

His IV tubing is only good for 24 hours. He will need new tubing for every day at school. He isn't allowed to carry them to and from school, so now I will be short a few sets.

I'm sure I can get more, but it will take a few days.

I have all the required paper work for her to give the IV meds, but didn't realize the saline she has to push to flush is technically a prescription. I have no paper work for it. I'm just going to cross my fingers and hope she misses that one.

I will have to pick him up early so I can give his 2pm meds. I don't have any paper work for those either. Monday is the onyl full day he has this week so the rest of the week it won't be an issue.

We have PFT's at 3pm tomorrow. Hoping Hoping Hoping that we see some improvements!

Sick

I'm so tired of SICK!

Last night Dustin started to not feel well.

Late Thursday night/early Friday morning, I headed into the ER.

This morning...... it's Jacey!

All we have left is Gavin.

Can he please be sick today so he doesn't have to miss any school next week?

My only complaint today is a headache, and I think it's from not sleeping well last night. Nothing a little nap can't cure.
