My First Actual Blog!

Okay, so this whole blog thing is new to me but I think it will be helpful for everyone to keep up with our family and all the craziness we go through! Please bear with me as I learn how to make these a little more interesting. I am a myspace pro, let's hope that helps me out : )!

Christmas is fast approaching and bringing with it all the usual stress. I tried a new couple new sugar cookie recipes last weekend and ended up unhappy with them both. I guess I'll go back to my old one. My old one consists of driving to costco, finding the big box, waiting in line for EVER, driving home (most likely in the sonw), adding water (yes that's all), cutting out, and baking. They are the best dang cookies ever, they don't turn crunchy on you. Those who know me well know that's only the first half, I spend hours decorating them. I plan on doing all the rest of my baking tomorrow, after the big Larson Christmas Party.

I still work pretty much full time, and with babies, so needless to say my energy is zapped by the time I get home. By home I mean this tiny tiny little duplex that we live in like sardines. My children have totally destroyed my christmas tree, and though they haven't tried to open any gifts- many are missing bows. I usually enjoy this time of year to it's fullest- not this year though. I'm sad that my husband is leaving. I guess that's what it really comes down to. It's hard in this little house, but at least it's hard together. Now it gets to be hard all by myself and I'm questioning if I'm really up for the challenge like I'd thought I was. Oh well...... it's too late to turn back now so I will continue to put that smile on my face whenever some mentions him leaving for the army.
